Well done to all who recently participated in the chess tournament. It is such a wonderful game for promoting focus, memory and planning skills.
Third class really enjoyed making St. Bridget's crosses to celebrate her National Feast Day on February 1st.
Our Girls Mini 7s team made history in the Dome in Bekan on February 8th winning the Cumann na mBunscol Mini 7s tournament for the first time! The girls played Currabaggan NS in the semi final and came away with a narrow 2 point win. The girls defeated Gaelscoil na Cruaiche, Westport in the final and the whole school community were delighted when the girls were handed their medals and shield! Well done girls and coaches, Ms Grimes and Ms Seoighe |
